three chords and the truth. how cliché.
or is it? music is the art that brings us all together. the artists who create it put feelings and experiences into words so those of us who listen feel heard. everyone has their own story and version of the truth. I think ultimately that is what Harlan Howard meant when he first said three chords and the truth.

the goal
the goal is incredibly simple. tell others about music I love, spotlight those who are far more talented than myself, and recognizing what all is going on behind the scenes. just about everything I share is an opinion, but opinions absolutely deserve to be heard. who knows, maybe I will share a hot enough take to start an internet war.
my truth!
hey y'all! my name is Kendall Cleveland and I am from Powder Springs, Georgia! (if you know me, you know this is my tag line)
I am an advertising and music business student at UGA, the greatest university in the world. Athens has become my home and I'll tell anyone who will listen how great the town is. I work as an intern at Georgia Theatre and Six String Southern Productions, and I am so grateful to work alongside some pretty cool people!
music wise, I am 100% a country girl through and through. I heard Blake Shelton's "Honey Bee" on the radio and there was my first favorite song. how was I supposed to hear "She's Country" on the radio on the way to go fishing and not think the song was about me at 7 years old? the stuff I was raised on will forever hold a place in my heart, but really I love music that I can relate to in that moment. sometimes it is sappy heartbreak indie, sometimes it is Nickelback, sometimes it is girly pop, and sometimes it is "girls, trucks, beer" country. who knows what you will get!
my current favorites: Ella Langley, Parker McCullom, Treaty Oak Revival, Evan Honer, Ole 60, Lizzy McAlpine, Riley Green
